AS CITIZENS….

I. WE ARE INCLUDED IN DIVINE FORETHOUGHT.

1:4,  2:10

1) Our place in divine planning-  privileged inclusion

2) A family code of conduct

II. WE ARE APPROVED BY DIVINE STANDARDS.

1:6-  verb form of word for grace

1) As objects of grace, we tell others.

III. WE HAVE HAD DISCLOSURE OF DIV. AGENDA.

1:9,  3:4-6--  “on the authority of God’s word….”

IV. WE ARE BENEFICIARIES OF DIVINE RESOURCES.

1:11-  divine inheritance= 1-legacy of more than 30 items

received at conversion 

 2-future rewards distributed to those faithful

V. WE ARE SUPPORTED BY DIVINE POWER.  1:13-14

The indwelling of the Spirit of God   -3:16

VI. WE HAVE ACCESS TO GRACE- 2:6-7,  Rom.5:1-2

1) Qualified us for citizenship-  2:8-9

2) Greatest expression/experience is future- 2:7

VII. WE HAVE ACCESS TO DIV. AUTHORITY. 2:16-18
