Intro: studying Understanding
Personal Destiny- in
relation of our place in
history.
I.
We are assured every believer has significance
with
respect to God’s purposes.
1) A sense of significance is
essential to validation
before God- we require meaning in
our lives!
2) The “why of life?” and “why am
I here?” are not
foolish questions, but reflect a
God-given hunger
II.
Placed where we are in human history provides
a
variety of challenges to our destiny.
Esther 4:14 “who knows
whether….”
1) It is possible to be born in
either a positive or
negative period of
history.
“trends” may
reflect intense evangelization or
spiritual
decay!
2) Each trend has unique
opportunities & obstructions.
III.
Clearly, God uses a variety of vessels to
impact
this
world for His Son. II

1) God may have used Balaam’s
donkey—but God isn’t
looking for more
donkeys.
IV.
Understanding personal destiny brings together
the
