Revisiting the Miraculous

Intro: II Peter 1:15-18- many today doubt the

Biblical accounts of miracles—including the

Bodily Resurrection of Christ.

1)Miracles were done by Jesus in a redemptive

context- Mt.4:23-24

2) Miracles done by Jesus have adequate and

sufficient testimony to establish them as

historical facts.   They were done---

in public eye         in company of critics

testimony of the cured

3) Miracles done by Jesus are a wonderful

counterpoint to His words-

4)The bodily resurrection of Jesus is THE

miracle of the New Testament

*Observe some particulars about circumstances

of Jesus’ death,burial & resurr.

*If Resurrection accounts are a fabrication, then

answers must be given to:

>The testimony & behavior of Paul
