I. Jesus had insight into the matter of consequences.

1) Wisdom lies in the insight of discern consequences-

Prov.14:12,  Psa.37:37

love for Him

the uniqueness of result-  note Jere.6:6-21

II. Jesus interrupted festivities with lamentation.

Lamentation= emotional song of tragedy, sorrow, etc.

change the Jerusalem would experience.

III. Jesus revealed compassion instead of cynicism.

1) While He saw through their outward religious demonstration,

He was not bitter or disillusioned.

*He was a Realist    *John 2:25, 4:22

2) He was moved to tears instead of sarcasm.

IV. Jesus anticipated the rejection of His love.

See Matt.23:37

2) The pain of His Passion has begun- John 12:23, 27, 13:1
