Intro: Ch.5:11-14 – close of epistle with personal

Salutations.

 

I. Peter’s short doxology- 5:11- “to Him be glory…”

1. Formal doxologies in high church liturgy

2. “glory is to render to God the praise & honor

appropriate to His Incomparable Person
